MP SKN is operated by Elina Popescu trading as MP SKN.
Our website is currently in its pre-launch stage and is hosted using Squarespace.

Our website is built and hosted using Squarespace.

4. Analytics and performance cookies
We currently use Squarespace Analytics.
If you consent to analytics and performance cookies, Squarespace may place cookies including:

ss_cvr — identifies unique visitors and tracks visitor sessions. Duration: approximately two years.
ss_cvt — identifies unique visitors and tracks visitor sessions. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
These technologies help provide information such as website visits, traffic sources, unique visitors and interactions with the website.
We restrict non-essential cookies until you make your choice through the cookie banner.
5. Marketing cookies
At the date of this Cookie Policy, MP SKN's pre-launch website is not intentionally using advertising pixels for personalised advertising.
If we later introduce advertising or marketing technologies, such as advertising pixels or other third-party tracking tools, we will update this Cookie Policy and our cookie controls where necessary.
6. Email-related technologies
MP SKN uses Squarespace Email Campaigns for pre-launch communications.
Email campaigns may use technologies such as tracking pixels to provide information about campaign performance, including whether messages have been opened or links clicked.
These technologies are explained further in our Privacy Policy.
Cookie preferences selected on our website do not necessarily control technologies contained within emails.

Squarespace provides the main website, email and analytics services currently used by MP SKN.
Squarespace may use subprocessors and technical infrastructure located in different countries.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or TikTok Pixel as part of the MP SKN pre-launch website setup described in this policy.
If this changes, this Cookie Policy should be updated before or when those technologies are introduced.
11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the technologies used on the MP SKN website.
In particular, this policy is likely to be updated when our online store launches or if we introduce new analytics, advertising, ecommerce or third-party services.
The latest version will be available on www.mpskn.uk.

Those five ss_... analytics cookies and their durations come directly from Squarespace's current cookie documentation. Squarespace also confirms that its necessary cookies vary depending on which site features are actually used, which is why I would not paste a huge generic list of ecommerce/Acuity/customer-account cookies into your policy when those aren't relevant to your pre-launch.

Replace your current disclaimer with:

Make the words Cookie Policy clickable and link them to the Cookie Policy page.
Keep Manage cookies ON, Decline all ON, Cookie Preferences ON, and your non-essential-cookie setting Restricted. Squarespace's own guidance says this configuration lets visitors accept, decline or manage non-essential cookies.
And switch:
Activity Log → OFF
for the simpler privacy setup.
4. PRE-LAUNCH EMAIL FORM
Because the only reason someone is entering their email is to join the MP SKN mailing list, you don't necessarily need to make the form ugly with a long legal paragraph.
I would use:

or whatever branding heading you've already chosen.

rather than simply JOIN.
Then immediately underneath the form put:
By signing up, you agree to receive MP SKN early-access and launch emails. From time to time, these may include promotional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time. Read our Privacy Policy.
Make Privacy Policy clickable.
That is much better than saying:
“Get early access and exclusive discounts”
because at the moment you don't actually know whether you're giving a discount.
The ICO expects marketing consent to be specific, informed and based on an affirmative action. It also says you should be able to demonstrate when and how consent was obtained.
Even safer version
If you want the consent wording to be extra explicit, use:
By entering your email and selecting “Get Early Access”, you agree to receive MP SKN early-access, launch and marketing emails. These may occasionally include promotional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time. Read our Privacy Policy.
That's the one I would personally use for the pre-launch.
5. SQUARESPACE EMAIL CAMPAIGNS
There are a few settings I would also configure before sending your first campaign.
Turn on subscriber verification / confirmation email if Squarespace gives you the option. Squarespace says its newsletter signup systems use reCAPTCHA and/or confirmation emails to verify subscribers, and confirmation helps prevent people from being added without their knowledge.
Every campaign should also contain your unsubscribe link. Squarespace adds this automatically, so don't remove or try to replace it.
